Junewire Games is a solo indie game studio in Williamsburg, Virginia, led by Jason Thomas. The focus is on creating playable systems, readable worlds, and stories shaped by music and exploration. The projects range from browser-based multiplayer adventures to compact mobile games and narrative worlds. They are different kinds of work, but they share the same center: atmosphere, mystery, and discovery.

Philosophy

Free. No strings attached.

The studio is built around the belief that progression, combat, story, and exploration should exist because they make the game better — not because they push the player toward a purchase. That means the work is built around the experience first, with no ads, paywalls, or microtransactions.

Current Work

Active projects and prototypes.

The studio is intentionally small: hands-on development and worlds built one piece at a time. The current lineup includes Brave, a browser-based multiplayer text adventure; RuneClicker, a focused Android incremental game; and Great Frontier, a music-driven story world.
